Fiber optics where previously only ADSL was available

A faster connection for homes and businesses in the historic center

Infotelecom has already installed fiber optics in the Old Town (Casco Antiguo) of Ciutadella, utilizing the existing underground conduits in the area.

Due to the layout of the historic center and the unique characteristics of each building, it is essential to verify feasibility for every specific address. Our team assesses the building entrance, available conduits, and the routing to the interior before confirming the installation.

Installing WiFi in old houses with thick walls

Old houses and thick walls

Fiber-optic service reaches the router, but the WiFi signal needs to reach every part of your home.

In some buildings within the historic district, features such as stone walls, varying floor levels, or an unfavorable router location can limit WiFi coverage indoors.

As part of our assessment, we can recommend the optimal placement for your equipment and explore the use of access points or other additional WiFi solutions, should they be required.
